I am by no means a professional chef, nor have I even considered myself a decent cook until more recently. However, in my journey towards better health, I have been on the hunt for healthier recipes to cook at home that still pack a powerful flavor punch. For me this means lower fats/carbs/sugars. Not eliminating these to an extreme, but being mindful of how much of these nutrients are included, and what their source is. I also strive for low gluten (I am not gluten free, just try to reduce), and a heavy emphasis on vegetables.
These recipes are all crafted by me. Some are completely original, some are modifications of recipes I have found. Some are a healthy twist to an old favorite (like my chocolate chip cookies).
I hope these provide you some inspiration on your own journey towards a healthier you. If I can learn to be a better, healthier, tastier, more mindful home cook, then so can you!
